BY THESE WOLVES I RULE #4: Return to Cha-Se

Thirday the 28th, Sixth Week of Flood 1, or, the 28th Day of the Raining-Month
Over the past week, the party that was still in the River-City mucked about and did some downtime.
- Ajmi cooks some things, throwing whatever she can into a cooking pot to feed the group, as she trains with her spear.
- Neumi weaves some leftover Oandu-Wool into trousers and goes hunting, although the second endeavor brings no bounty.
- Dejganas goes fishing at the Riverbanks. On his third day he is attacked by a Uarn2, fending the beast off until 9 Fishermen come to his aid and help slay it. Although invited to a feast, he does not go.
As the day begins, the group realize they are low on food and so head south. There, in the thick brush they hear the buzzing of insects, before being attacked by some Ging. Fleeing from the swarm, the group rushes further into the brush and mountains, soon realizing they are lost. Settling down, they plan to set course the next day.
As said day dawns, the forest thins as it becomes pure mountain, with the group maneuvering the craggy cliffs, careful to not fall. They settle down a few miles away again, still within a craggy riverside.
The next day the group continues to mountaineer, before arriving at a village, the aforementioned Cha-Se (although this part of the group has not been here), only to find the two guardsmen crossing their spears and looking hostile. Prodding a bit, they find out that during the night, the city's Lord had been taken in the night by Drake-Riding raiders. As the second day dawns, the group continues to gather food to feed themselves.
Yet another decent duo session, not many thoughts, meat moments came about pretty naturally.

Animals part four: Uarns are fat, squat things some 2 cubits wide and 2.5 cubits long, with stubby legs, short and tapering tails, leathery and wet hide and fat, rounded mouths. Imagine a cross between a Crocodile, Monkfish and Salamander. Ging are black dots with sharp, needle-like proboscises, stickly legs and thin wings. They suck blood.↩
