DEVIL CITY: A concept
A campaign idea I had. Possibly to be run with Violence
198X. A portal to hell is opened in a high school computer lab and the earth is scoured by demonflame.
201X. Devil City is split amongst demon cults and human den-bunkers. Surface dwelling bandits raid the caravan land-ships. The Church of Saviors, the greatest new religious movement, torches any suspected devil summoners on the remnants of telephone poles. Devilmen march in leagues to challenge the old hell-kings for the right to rule.
I’d like to think the players would be split between three “classes” if that would be the correct term: Devil-Busters, Devil-Men and Devil-Summoners. Those are effectively registered demon-killers, possessed humans and wizards respectively. Again this idea has been mostly floating around in my head after getting back on a Devilman and classic SMT/Megami Tensei kick.
