Sorcery for Wayfarer
My friend Chao wrote a low fantasy Trav thing called wayfarer. Here’s some magicks for it
Sorcery requires ritual and effort. If interrupted, the Sorcerers must test CON and on a fail will roll for catastrophe with 1D, with each point of failure above their own adding +1 to the Roll. If they are downed they add an additional 1D to the roll.

Learning
It takes 2D-INT weeks to learn each spell, with a Misfire check required at the end of each period. If not successful, the learning process must be repeated with a cumulative +2 to your CON score when attempting against a misfire.
Books of Magick have a complexity rank, being tacked onto the learning time to gain a singular spell.
A character with the Literacy skill may forgo all but 1 other specialized starting items to begin the game with a Tome of Sorcery. They do not know its contents, only that they exist.
Example Sorceries
Come forth, o Great Demon: Diagrams of chalk are lain and a blood sacrifice preformed under certain constellations. Each Demon is unique, no one fiend’s sacrifices and implements are quite the same.
Storm-Calling: The highest peak in the land must be visited at the time of Full Moon. along with a virgin maiden. Her throat is slit with a thunderbolt-knife, her head removed. Showering in the blood the sorcerer dedicates the act to the violent gods of Wind and Rain. With this, a horrible Monsoon arrives.
Love Me: Fresh placenta is boiled into a thick sludge in an Ensorcelled Flame, until it begins to mist and fog. Throwing a fetish-doll of their target the sorcerer dedicates their own blood to make the target fall madly in love with them. The target must save WIS or be subject to the spell.
Wizardflame: A fire is kindled on Fresh Death and Black lotus, until it burns a sickly Blue-Green and emanates a foul smog. The wizard may either invest 1D HP each day to keep the flame burning or attempt to consume it with a CON save, with a success allowing them to expel it out like dragonsflame, loosing it in the process. Those who touch the fire must check CON or take 2D damage to both HP and CON as their very life force is drained away.
The Rite to be Forever Young: Take a human of the same sex as the sorcerer. They are bound under a black moon, their heart gouged out whilst still alive. The sorcerer gorges on this heart while the victim watches. The sorcerer regains a number of years of youth equal to the gap between them and the victim.
